acabo de ir a global y elegi español ,guarde y di en actualziar varias veces y nada de nada sigue apareciendo en ingles :

Subiste los archivos de espanol de mybb 1.6.1 o solo copiaste los de la versión english?
Fíjate en tu host en la carpeta inc/lenguajes/espanol/admin/global.lang.php
abre el archivo y fíjate si esta en español.
