Y cual es la diferencia? Si repara las tablas en caso de haber problema pero al analizar y optimizar las tablas desde MyBB le arrojaría cual es el error, y en este caso no fue así.

Si no llega a funcionar descarga la base de datos desde MyPhpAdmin
Reinstala el foro,
En MyPhpAdmin borras las tablas de la nueva instalación ahora subes la base de datos de la que has hecho copia.

no perderas nada.

Seria bueno que realizes copia de tu plantilla tambien.

Hola Mira yo hace tiempo tuve un problema parecido fue por instalar plugins al cerrar sesion igual se dejaba en blanco se soluciono subiendo de nuevo el archivo fuctions.php limpio.. saludos espero & se resuelva
